Hi Everyone & Happy New Year....

Yesterday was a winner when it comes to good weather, though I had a rough beginning in that I almost couldn't get my engine started due to the cold weather. But, that was then and this is now, and I've got a heap of pictures for your Off-Season blues.

The BIG NEWS is The Big Wheel....It looks like it is going BYE BYE, though I have heard from others stating it is only being Rehabbed !!!

You can find the pictures at http://www.flyinphilsphotos.com/amuse/nj/sfga/2009-01-04/album0

I believe the Big Wheel looked similar when they took it apart for repairs and repainting in 1991.

Yeah, that is what I have heard, that it is being rehabbed and NOT removed, though it sure looks like it is on it's "Last Leg"  Cool

Thanks for the comments Dan Cheesy

It would be VERY ,VERY sad if it were removed. I am thinking it is a very big staple in the park and is just being rehabed.

Great photos phil. I am not liking the look of Medusa's paint job. Anyone know if it is going to stay that color? Blue and Purple are not too good together .

Great pics,Thanks Phil.  Medusa's new paint job reminds me a little bit of Scream at SFMM, but I think that has yellow track.

Ok well its been a while since I've been to Cali. and   my browser keeps freezing when I try to open rcdb.  I don't know if I like those colors in a Western themed area.
