On Friday, there were bulldozers operating on the ground under the former GASM...(I cannot make myself call that which remains it's formal name or GASM).

Last time I went to the park (august 28th) I saw huge amounts of concrete and rocks on the superman side of GASM, I guess they were removing the base and footers from where they tore out most of the ride so they could have some more mobility for the wrecking crew or something.

EDIT: oh yeah, when did you guys get a time machine? It's not September 9th yet.
