APRIL FOOLS!

As more employees start to get into the park to help get things ready for Opening Day this Saturday, it seems like more things are discovered as well! Some good, and well some not so good.

Reports are coming in from the park that the Great American Scream Machine is being removed!! The park has never mentioned that they wanted to get rid of this ride so this comes as quite a shock. And especially to be doing it the week before Opening Day.. Maybe they are trying to start 2010 construction early?

Now I can't say that Scream Machine is my favorite ride in the park but this is still sad news! Considering how long it's been in operation I hope the park makes a nice statement soon.

One of the employees managed to get us a photo, which I've posted below.

While I love the Bizarro transformation for Medusa, I kind of wish that GASM was "transformed" into rubble, INTAMIN was contacted, and a new looper was put into it's place as Bizarro.  Superman could "fight" him from right around the corner, and INTAMIN could break the record it has with Colossus by adding in an 11th inversion.  GASM is a classic, and a workhorse, but it hurts!

 Cry Cry Cry Cry well people, as much as i want to say it isn't true, i was great adventure on Wednesday and as you walked in right where you saw the sign last year for "Ride Medusa As You Know It For The Last Time", it said "Ride The Great American Scream Machine Before It Goes Forever.". Its the honest truth. The sad thing is i only rode it 4 times Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry.
