I was searching for the topic on which it talks about how security will sometimes say you cannot take a picture to put this is in but I couldn't find it. Anyways, what is park policy as far as tripods/monopods go? Are they allowed, forbidden, or just depends on the type of security guard you pass through?

Definately allowed and don't let them tell you otherwise.  But be kind and respond back that you don't believe this is park policy but I'll put my camera away and check with guest relations to be sure.

I have written communication from the park stating that it is permitted assuming you are in a legal section and obviously not ON the ride (minus the Skyway, Bigwheel, etc.).

Good to know. New things will be heading this way on the site since I can bring a tripod. Smiley
