use your body as a controller this could be used for computer input and other human interfaces, very cool

Microsoft on Monday unveiled a motion-based controller for its Xbox 360 entertainment console, and the system — which Redmond has dubbed Project Natal  promises to take interactive gaming well beyond today’s current state of the art embodied by the Nintendo Wii.

Unlike the Wii, which relies on physical sensors that players must physically hold or touch in some other way, Project Natal uses an array of technologies to “read” from afar players’ movements and even, according to Microsoft, gauge their emotional states.

if that works as well as that depicts, then i see a new revolution in gaming, thats just awsome

What happens when your dog gets it the way ?  Very cool tho.

What I want to see is how well it will work in different lighting conditions.

hmm interesting, I originally thought that it had 2 RGB cameras for 3D detection.  I just might get a 360 for this, depending on the cost.
