With Medusa they put a sign up for it. They wouldn't tear Kingda Ka down without a huge media release, anyway.
They're doing this because it's for charity and they want to build good PR.

I just saying... I'm glad Six Flags is doing this too. And If I'm open for the thirteenth I would be very happy to give to charity.

Very neat idea! We're hoping to attend. Rich could fill the park with donations! Get to ride a coaster and give to people in need--sounds like a win/win to me. Now can we just hope KK is down so that we can ride Nitro instead?

If there's a cloud in the sky, we'll end up riding nitro.
Still good in my book!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! ! This sounds soooo frikin cool to me. Because i never went to hoilday lights. And i don't care if it is a rainy day because nitro is my favorite sfga ride, then kingda ka, then bizzaro, then batman, after that, superman, next el toro, and runway train. Not to menchion all for a great cause!!!

1)They stopped holiday lights like three years ago, and this is the first time they're doing this event. 1.a)None of the rides were open anyway.
2) You put superman in front of El toro? (It's your opinion and all but that got my attention)

Six Flags had winter lights for 01-02 and 02-03. It was a drive through like PNC bank did.

Speaking of Winter Lights That was something that we enjoyed . I wonder if it just didnt bring in enough people to keep it running or was it that people expected something like Hershey has.

I remember going in 2001. Hazy, but in my mind. It was pretty cool seeing all the coasters with snow on them.

just $5 to go on ka without donating anything?? i don't get it..
superman? idk.. too hard for me to rank. I love them all now, even gasm. superman breaks too much for me to hit every row in a row.. it always gets stuck for 20 minutes with me over the brake run after several rerides every single time i tried it this season..
