I have to give the Harry Potter darkride the nom for most anticipated "new" ride of 2010.

But what I'm most anticipating is the "new" Voyage.

Coasterwise, I pretty much know what to expect from both Intimidators. I am more interested in seeing how Kennywood's Skyrocket and Quassy's small GG woodie turn out.

Oh wait, we're forgetting something...

FLYING TURNS!

This... could... be... the... year... myabe... Smiley

The kiddie at quassy is listed as 2011 on coaster database.
Not sure why

Skyrocket is intreaging, isn't it.

I'm sad I never got to ride the "old" voyage but you can't help but be excitted about the possiblility of it being bettter.

Flying turns is going to be better than expected I predict.

Question? Why are GG not run off thier feet building coasters every year? Do they turn down job offers? It just seems to me everyone should want one and pay a premium to get one. I guess I'm biased.

Sky rocket might be one of those rides they'll start building into the opening days and won't open 'til mid-season.

The media release said the ride would be complete in May of 2010:

I thought the Underground was a roller coaster in Iowa.  In fact, I am sure it is.

I don't do harry potter anything but I must admit it is appealing.

Matt I don't know if you know what I'm talking about but I bet you do. Marineland is rumoured to be completing the waterfall section on dragon mt. this year. Only 27 yrs after it was built. the Volcano sec. only took 23 yrs. Talk about anticapaction.

That would be pretty cool if Dueling Dragons got the "Bizarro" effect.

I just think they could do a better job at naming a coaster.

Perhaps they could take lessons from Cedar Fair, with such beauts as Flight Deck and my all time favorite, the Beaver Land Mine Ride at Geauga Lake, which was NOT a mine train!  Nothing like mentioning Land Mines in a kids' ride's name!

I'd like to see them fill in the big empty lot under the Dragons with lots of castle/village/stone theming...not cardboard cut-outs, but more of the Maverick-style rock formations in the look of Harry Potter of course. That ride could be so much more with an immersive environment.
