OK since Six Flags will be celebrating 50 year anniversary next year (2011)
and we see other parks Like SFOT rebuilding the Texas Giant.

1.What do you think we can see or what would you like to see happen or added next year to our local Six Flags
2.Are they holding back on big announcements ?
3.Are their (I'm sure there is) plans for new rides coasters that are delayed until after the ongoing Bankruptcy proceedings ?

A big opportunity which I'm sure plans are already laid out but not yet public

HHHmmmm

-TLC on Nitro
-More flat rides, maybe like the ones from '99
-better food
-As long as it's beneficial to my opinion on the park, I don't care.

^ Hasn't the food in the park already improved the past few years?

Certainly Has! I actually prefer to eat in the park sometimes, as apposed to going to WaWa or KFC like I used to do every time I'd spend an entire day at the park.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of rides going in for the 50th, and one being a coaster. Who knows though, it's all speculation right now

Just as 031610 is important for Cedar Fair, the importance of the decision in the currently ongoing bankruptcy hearing for Six Flags simply cannot be overestimated.  It is quite possible that Messrs Shapiro and Snyder will be shown the door and that who knows whom could be running the parks by 2011.  If that happens, even currently existing plans could be canceled and who knows what could happen...and, sadly, there is not one thing any of us can do to influence the outcome.  The junior bondholders claim they have an experienced management team on standby waiting to take over...

It has, but I still prefer the outside food... if next year is better, I might just eat in the park more often.

I was going to say the same thing wow lol.

The food has improved big time imo and deals can certainly be found between the large bundles for groups and the coupons. However, a big complaint myself and many others have had is the slow service. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to get a slice of pizza with only 3 people in front of you. From what I understand, this is being remedied this season as well Smiley.

As for the 50th, I think we'll see some really great things if the bankruptcy goes smoothly. As wow mentioned, that could make or break next year. I'm personally very optimistic and feel they will come out of it just fine.
