Greg Biffle wins the pocono/pennsylvania 500. This win has ended two big winless streaks:
1. Ford's 20+ race winless streak (Nov. 2009 @ Texas)
2. Biffle's near 30 race winless streak (Sept. 2009 @ Dover)

Don't forget about this horrifying hit that left Sadler's #19 Ford without its engine:
Pocono wreck everyone is fine, btw. Even though it was the hardest hit in Nascar's history.

The next race will be at Watkins Glen (International course) a 2.454 mile long track with exceptionally fast straights and 9 challenging turns. The international course is the shortest course only providing a straightaway between the wraparound turn and turn 11 on the GP map. I'll give a linkk in case anyone is confused...
IT'S FIXED!!!!

The Nationwide series will be racing on saturday on ESPN around 2:30. While the sprint cup will be held on Sunday around 1:00 also on ESPN.

News/rumors:

-Jack Roush is still recovering from the plane incident in Wisconsin. Still no word on when he'll return, but good news is he can still speak and do everything else normally even after surgery.

-Atlanta will hold only one race weekend next year. The event will be held n Labor Day weekend (Sept. 2-4) and will host all three series.

-Richard Childress is once again looking to expand to 4 cars in 2010. This time he's looking in with Paul Menard, who carries his family business with him wherever he drives in Nascar. Reports say that it's almost set for next year but with no news on how long the contract is.

Wow, I missed a lot.

Kevin Harvick won the Carfax 400 @ michigan.

Next race is tomorrow @ Bristol Motor Speedway around 7:30pm on ESPN

News/rumors:
- A big shake-up for drivers next year. Ambrose will replace Kahne in the #9 ford while Kasey goes for a one year stint with red bull. Budweiser, the primary sponsor for the #9 will move to the #29 next year leaving the #9 without a major sponsor for now.
http://jayski.com/cupnews.htm#news9tue

- Another separate shake-up is that mobil 1 could move to stewart's #14 next year after dumping Penske amid their shuffle of drivers (Busch to the #22, Keselowski to the #2, Hornish to probably move to the #12 if verizon still stays).
http://jayski.com/cupnews.htm#news14tue

-If you look down from the second link you'll see that terry labonte is beginning a career in team ownership. he's partnered with a guy by the name of stavola and they're set to make their first start at richmond. They will be the #10 Gander Mtn. Chevy.

-Paul Menard will move to RCR for 2011, bringing his family business with him. The way things look, it's showing that StavolaLabonte will partner with RCR and provide the cars for Menard. (Same article as above.

-All three schedules have been released for next year's racing season. each series has some major changes due for next year that hasn't been this major since 2005's minor overhaul.

Sprint:
http://jayski.com/pages/2011cup_sched.htm
(just scroll down and look to the left, it will show the race #'s and where they'll be racing. They also display the most recent winner which completely lost me for a second)

Nationwide:
This schedule will trim down to 33 races for next year.
http://jayski.com/nationwide/2011/2011nationwideschedule.htm

Truck:
They have every race in except one, right now.
http://jayski.com/cts/2011cts-sched.htm

That's a lot of stuff for only 6 days...
