Bubba, Bubba's friend Drew, AVMatt, and I went to Kings Dominion this past Sunday and here are some pictures I would like to share with everyone. Enjoy!

I like the new Timmy. Didn't care for the old Timmy. It still makes me grey out in the first turn and the ending still suffers El Toro's anticlimax, but the new restraints eliminate virtually all of the horrible neck/head banging it had before. You don't even have to hold on now!

Never had the opportunity to get out to KD in recent years. With the prospect of moving it's about to become my home park! I've heard of Dominator being a very exciting ride and it took me a bit to realize why the layout of the ride was the way it was. Don't care much for i305 right now, none of the hills look to have much airtime to them and the only part of the ride that looks to have some sort of force is that right hander (timmy?).

Timmy is the exact opposite of Millennium Forceless. The first two hills have loads of airtime and there a few pops after that. Every single turn has powerful positive G's and the rolls in between some of the turns are kinda fun. If only it had some sick overbanks!

that's good to here since I really like this ride
seems to be the fastest I been on after Kingd Ka
Millennium is to high up to really feel the speed as much as Timmy

Right, Timmy isn't amazing and Millennium Force is AMAZING. lol. I like I305, it's a really fun ride and neat experience, but I don't think it is as awesome as some people make it out to be. The first drop is great, but is over way too fast which I think is partially due to the super fast cable lift. I think El Toro has a more exciting and "lose your stomach" drop. All of the quick transitions give a nice pop of airtime, sort of like Maverick's quick transitions, so there is airtime in many places on this ride. It's just too short and well, just no Millennium Force. =)

Millennium Force has four overbanks which don't provide much force, and also has two "air-time" hills which lack the negative-G's. Millennium Force has over a mile of potential, but very, very rarely uses it. I got lucky with my only ride on it and got a good bit of floater air over both of its hills, but I've had more action on El Toro's return run...

I sense a Millennium Force hater! just kidding, I understand that some people are just not fans of the ride. I am just obsessed with that coaster like many people know so I will always stick up for it even though it may be pointless at times.

Lol, I was about to say because you support MF too much but damn you're right. Not exactly a #1, it only has a speed factor and some force; nothing fully exhilarating.
