I agree with that matt.. I think B&M will be up for a 3rd rd. up here. The only reason I could see it is because of the void wonderland has can really only be filled by intamin. Maybe they can wait out BM launchers. I also think a 3-5 yr wait is in store.

Apparently I was wrong... there will be no Log ride this year folks. Ontario place is shuting down for at least a year in hopes to completely revamp it`s direction. They used to average 2.5 mil people per summer in the 70`s... last year, 300,000.

Maybe squeeze some Martins in now Wink

2017... for the Canada`s 150th birthday of course!

Just so there is no false hope, there is about a 1% chance that the log ride will be there in 2017. Apparently this park is costing us over 20 mil a year to keep open. As it is government owned.

We could bust in and start it up!

84 days!

So what kind of itinerary are you guys looking at? Or have the details not been worked out at all?

I would hit up Martins the night of the drive out... But thats just me. You won't be able to do that at Marineland because I think they close around 5-6. At least the ticket office does. I am really excitted about ML as I haven't been since I was about 14. Certainly much more interested in coasters now.

Are you thinking 2 part days at CW? Or cram it all in 1 day. Im guessing the plan WAS to break up one day with the flume.

Yes. Funny money indeed. But alt least it's similar to our bland American money so the cost of stuff is much easier to relate to, compared to Scandinavia.

The US seems to have the dullest looking money in the world. I always wondered if that's just to keep the cost of printing down.

American money is the clear winner. Gangster rappers, and bank heist movies are the reason for it's success.

Leviathan's track is complete.. Pictures can be found in the obvious locations (screamscape/cwmania)

Was across the border today and found out something somewhat interesting... You can only see Dragon Mt. from the US side of the border. All you can see from the canadian side is the drop tower on the top of a mountain. Almost drove past martins but didn't want to pay tolls.

One last thing... Is it true you don't tip alot at restraunts in america? For example I went to Applebees today and the bill was only 27 bucks.. I left 34 which is maybe a little high percent wise.. But amount, I would never leave lesss than 5 unless the service was barf. Whats the story?
Our waitress was like overly thankful and kept asking are you sure I can't get you some change?

They should rename Dragon Fire to "Dwarf." If someone could find any 1500x750 (or anything close) pictures of the CW skyline with Leviathan I'd be grateful! I have 147 pictures circulating on my laptop atm, I want that to pass 150 lol.

No, Tipping IS a big deal in the US. 15-20% of the bill is standard.  I always try to give 20% unless the service is bad or if it's a buffet where all they do is bring you your drink.

In Scandinavia you just round up to the nearest round number. Basically no more than a fifty cent tip.

Maybe I was just off due to how cheap the bill was at Applebees... Here's a tip, cross the border and go to applebee's and prepare to pay not 20% more, but double! In other words never go to applebees here. Yeah 15% here is about right. I usually up the % on cheaper meals. Just cuz a meal only costs $25 bucks doesn't mean the poor girl should only get 3-4 bucks. 7 is my minimum for decent service.

46 Days...

Hey check out this floated rumor I came across. Look familiar?

Also the trains are in on Leviathan. One thing I noticed is that the zero car doesn't have the face on it like in the renderings. Do they get stickered on afterwards? Or is it just a case of renderings are not 100% acurate.

Hershey Wildcat!

They often add parts to the trains later.
