I haven't actually watched it to make sure but G4 has been showing the Dark Knight previews which I presume will contain the footage from media day.

I have it DVR'ed so I'll let you all know if any of us are actually on it when I get a sec to watch.

It does! I didn't really see anyone I knew in it, but its still a pretty interesting clip. Too bad they got more of the public riders then the media event riders. Its only about a 2 or 3 minute clip.

There was also a block of extreme coaster shows on the other day.
About 5 hours worth.  And Coastin Steve was in most of them!
Boy was he young on the one that had Nitro.

Blizzard Beach looks amazing.  As usual Disney does it in style!
Wet n' Wild also had many interesting creations.

LOL. No problemo.

Hey, thanks for the recap Bubba. I'm in the middle of watching Extreme Water Parks. Wet n' Wild and Schliterbahn look nuts! WnW added allot of theming since '89 with a light show in the 'ole Black Hole and enclosing the old Riptide Rapids action river. Sea World built the park in '77 and it's been reinventing the water park ever since.

Schliterbahn is three parks in one. It has an older section with action rivers using water from the river that runs through the park. The park on Long Island look beautiful and has a slide with animatronics in the queue!

Thanks for the heads up Ken.  My PVR is set :D.  Although I thought tonights show kinda sucked.  And I'm not just saying that because of Voyage :).  Seriously though, a sand park for sand boarders?  While I'll admit that's cool, it isn't really a "ride" but whatever.

Post by: Ogolo on October 18, 2010, 07:35:38 PM
This show is usually pretty good...not like that show that Bert show.

National Geographic Channel - Worlds Toughest Fixes - Ultimate Water Ride (http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/episode/ultimate-water-ride-5035/Overview#tab-Videos/08804_00)

Worlds Toughest Fixes is going on one wild ride - as we build the worlds longest water coaster, using some amazing new technology that could change the future of theme park rides - and modern transportation. Our destination - a quaint little town known as Santa Claus, Indiana, home to one of Americas classic amusement parks - Holiday World. Their latest creation is the Wildebeest. This eighteen hundred foot long ride combines the ups and downs of a traditional roller coaster with the big splashes of a water ride. And it uses some high-tech engines and the power of magnets to power it.

This park has an injured roller coaster -- and Riley is along for the ride as the engineers attempt to nurse it back to health.
