You probably noticed a slight change  ;D

There was one major reason behind this - Photo Trip Reports.  Personally, I love PTR's and it irked me when I couldn't turn off the side bars to see the entire photo on the screen (unless I was at work on a 19" flat panel).  Well, apparantly this wasn't possible with our old layout and somehow, I think this bothered other members to.  The sidebars are awesome while annoying at the same time.

Now we have arrows up at the top right to enable/disable the left and/or right side bars at will which is perfect for viewing these Photo Trip Reports with large photos inserted :)

If the new layout irks people more than not having this ability - let us know through the poll.  It will expire in 7 days so if it doesn't rack up to many no's by the end of the week, its staying this way lol.

I actually think it looks better anyway :).

/\ I now see a bug - and its not you ;)

There is a graphic file missing for the stars.  I'll fix that in a bit.

I also noticed after your new post hit that the contrast of the paper on the main forum page was hardly any darker than the "read" boards.
