Acoustic Viscosity is a term my best friend and I made up in college. I was trying to come up with a cool sounding engineering term for a rock band name. We thought we were inventing a new term by combining Acoustic Velocity (the speed of sound) with Viscosity, but years later, I discovered it already exists in the engineering world.
