Title: Create a Tagline!
Post by: jglonek on December 18, 2008, 06:24:09 PM: So it's been a few days since we launched this site, and hopefully everyone is getting used to it and likes how the layout (if not, please go put some suggestions in the forum for us!). Now I want everyone to look up at our logo - "GA Outpost. The One Stop Spot for Great Adventure".

That's our current tagline, and right now we feel that it's only temporary! I mean if you guys like it we will keep it, but, well we want to see what everyone can come up with!

So to that end, we want you to create a tagline for us. A nice slogan. Post it in this thread. You have until next Wednesday, 12/23 at 11:59PM to submit it. After that we will look over the entries and pick one that we think is best!

After Christmas we will then hold another contest, which will involve someone creating a new logo for us that involves the new tagline!

Winners of both contests will get their names mentioned on our website for who helped create the logo, for one. But on top of that we want to give you some free swag! The people responsible for the new tagline, and eventually the new logo, will receive a free hoodie or t-shirt (your choice) from us with the logo and slogan on it!

So let's see what you guys can come up with! We're excited!

Post by: darkridedan on December 18, 2008, 09:11:50 PM: One of the things I like about this site is the members who travel the country to ride the smallest roller coaster and post TR's from their adventures. There's a European correspondent and WOW (the Linkerator!,) your park news anchor.

A variant on "More stories from more places" or a tagline like "Your global great adventure" could play on that strength.
