Title: Great Adventure Opens March 23rd!

Great Adventure opens for the season March 23rd! And is open the entire week following for Spring Break! You can check it all out on their calendar (http://www.sixflags.com/greatAdventure/events/CalendarEvents.aspx).

Seems early to me. I was surprised today when I learned it!

Now the question is - will the Safari experience be open as well? Apparently not until Memorial Day, as per the original press release. No Safari for two months? Boo!

Boo indeed, I wonder if they started construction on it yet?

I'm really curious to see how this goes. I love it when they give themselves that extra buffer weekend to let the crew get a little more comfortable with things while the crowds are low.
