Just 3 small details to add what's below.

1) Check-in ends at 9:15am. If you're arriving after that time, your packet will be at guest services
2) If you have a favorite lanyard bring it for your name badge. If you don't have a lanyard we will have one for you.
3) Please check the back of your name badge, it has a quick reference schedule.

Here are a few things you'll need to know before the event.

The parking lot opens at 7:50 AM.  If you get there earlier you may have to wait briefly along the side of the highway.  We find a lot of folks who travel far seem to arrive earlier, which is not a bad thing!  If you’re early, swing back to the Wawa…it’s a great place to chat it up, fill the car with cheap NJ gas, and get a bite and some coffee.

You won't need to print out any tickets if you registered online.  We’ve streamlined the check-in process this year, and all tickets, wristbands, name badges and lanyards, schedules, ROTB5 button, and other info you’ll need will be in your registration packet, which you’ll pick up on arrival.  (There’s a lot of stuff in there, so be careful when you open your packet!)

The check-in packets will be sorted by your name, so just get in the check-in line for your last name’s letter range.

If you registered for the event as a season passholder at the lower rate, you will need to use your season pass for admission.  Don’t forget to bring it.

If you ordered a ROTB5 T-shirt, you’ll find a ticket for a shirt in your size inside your packet, just move to the T-shirt pickup and trade it in.  We may have the shirts at morning check-in time;  if not, they’ll be at dinner - just hold on to your shirt ticket and use it then.  We will have a limited number of extra T-shirts for sale at dinner.

Check-in will be open at 8:00 AM. Once you’ve picked up your event packet you can then sign up for a tour.

ROTB Coaster Tours
Like behind-the-scenes tours? This year we will be offering a total of eight of them!  There will be four time slots for Nitro / Batman the Ride, and four time slots for Kingda Ka / Rolling Thunder / El Toro.  Because of expected high demand, we must limit everyone to one tour.  Tour signup will be at check-in;  you will receive a ticket specific for your time and tour when you sign up.  There will also be two history tours.  All tour sign-ups are first-come-first-serve, you must be present to sign up for a tour, and you must pick up your event check-in packet before signing up for tours.

ERT, dinner, other special happenings

We have morning ERT on Nitro and Batman the Ride from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

At 10:00 AM there will be a brief pause for a Tribute to Tanya Regan in the Nitro station.

Dinner is 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM, which will include a welcome from the regional reps, door prizes, and more fun stuff you won’t want to miss.

Group photo will be taken at 6:45 PM;  we will meet at the exit of El Toro.

Evening ERT on El Toro is from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM.  The line for El Toro will close to the public at 7:00 PM, and we are assured the line will be run through very quickly.

Immediately following the end of El Toro ERT, the park will offer a salute to Rolling Thunder, which operates for the last time this weekend.

We will then have Private Park Time from 9:00 PM until 12:00 midnight. All major rides and coasters in the park are expected to be operating during this time.

Schedule and times are, of course, subject to change;  a full detailed schedule will be available Saturday morning.

Sunday, September 8:  Seaside Hangover, part 2 at Casino Pier!

We call it “Hangover” because The Bull is going to whip you, then we ask you to get up early the next morning.  Please come out and support Casino Pier.  The 100 folks who did last year for Seaside Hangover will never forget the time they had the on the pier and the boardwalk, which turned out to be the last ACE gathering in Seaside before the storm.  The pier has forever changed and a new age of Casino Pier has started…but those amazing memories will live always.  As ever, $15 buys you a lot.  One could easily get their money’s worth of rides and fun in two hours and then head home, but you’ll want to stay all day and soak it all up.

Registration for Seaside Hangover is onsite. However, we ask that you please RSVP by replying to this email if you’re planning to go.  We’d like to get an approximate head count for buttons.

Please, everyone have a safe trip and we'll see you Saturday!
