Set your Tivos!

For those of you that are into Disney as much as I am, get your Tivos ready for Christmas day, History Channel 8-10PM -

Quote
Journey underground and backstage at the technological marvel that is Walt Disney World. Enter a make-believe world spanning some 27,000 acres, brought to life by cutting-edge technology. What was once Florida swampland now boasts the world's largest theme park. The ride technology ranges from space-age centrifuges to enhanced motion vehicles powered by 3,000 PSI of hydraulic pressure. And hundreds of audio animatronics brought to life through the power of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Walt Disney World is made up of four separate theme parks, each with its own innovations: the 107-acre Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. The four parks are all part of a megaplex of a resort. Twice the size of Manhattan, it was the final vision and crowning achievement of a man who spent more than 40 years pushing the limits of technology to create entertainment magic: Walt Disney

Finally just finished watching it.  Great show with lots of rare footage!

The only sad part was seeing the stuff about the inferno barge which is no longer with us :(

Otherwise, great show that was actually made RECENTLY...... Hear that Discovery Channel!!!

Oh, wait, they are working on a new show with us that is due out in 2006 LOL

Between Discovery, NGC and History channel, some good shows have come out or will be coming out :)

I was so sad tonight. I was at the parents for Christmas weekend, and when I finally got home tonight I noticed that the power went out 15 minutes into the Modern Marvels show! GRRR!

The TiVo is smart enough to start taping again once it reboots, but the Cable Box, Not so much. It just sits there in "Bypass" mode. So I lost the Disneyworld show, as well as my wife's Soaps for today!

And according to the TiVo and HistoryChannel.com, It's not on again anytime soon. :(

(Thanks to ThemeParkReview!)

If anyone here gets Travel Channel, there's a few shows on Disney parks today (Jan 4) at 3pm Eastern time.

3pm: Disneyland Resort: Behind the scenes - Includes Walt Disney's apartment and the eternal lamp. Of course, at WDW, the apartment was going to be in the castle because it's so much bigger
4pm: Disney's Imagineers - Covers Pirates, Splash Mountain, and TOT
5pm: Animal Kingdom - Not sure what this will cover. Maybe some of EE
6pm: Magic Kingdom - Covers WDW's Magic Kingdom. Also has some of EPCOT, MGM, and AK.

Ha! I bring up the topic, say I won't miss it, then forget to set the TiVo for the 3pm show. (Actually I'm pretty sure I've seen that one, based on the description)

Regardless, I logged in online and set it up for the 4-7:00 shows, so I'm now set!
