We are new at this so please be patient while we tweak the site and the forums.

Thanks for reading and feel free to drop a note here to let us know what we could do better (or I guess say something nice as well :wink: ).

I guess I'll be the first to make a suggestion. Is there a way that you could have the forums open directly when you click the link? The extra step is slightly annoying, but surviveable.

Well, since we are giving suggestions, I use the "View posts since last visit" link, and while it shows the topics with new posts, it doesn't give a link to "View newest post" that jumps to the newest posts. I know that phpBB does support this, and it's something that makes reading the new posts much easier.

Will Do. I actually noticed the topic reply thing later today lol Now I just need to figure out how :? Also, there is a skin choice within your actual profile in case the theme bothers you.

As for the forum link, not a problem. I just had that page there as a place holder for the button until I was done setting up the forums but it can go now

It turns out that it is just the default skin (One of the Gray ones) that doesn't support the "Jump to First Unread Post" thing. The "SubSilver" does support this. (Plus I like the colors better)

I also managed to add a method for image uploading. However, you must also use the SubSilver skin which is why that is now the default skin.

Dont know if you would want this or not but enabling html in the sigs would make for some interesting signiatures.

Like me being able to hotlink my picture :wink:

Just a fyi - it doesn't appear there is a way to enable HTML by default in every post you make. This is probably why signatures aren't linking all the time.

Try unchecking the box "Disable HTML in this post" to see if it makes any difference with your sig.

I just want to say you guys have done a great job with this site. It has a great foundation of people to build off of, and the discussion already on these boards have been fantastic. If we can repel what GADVCentral's downfall was (lack of activity) I think this site can be a VERY good place to post.

Again, good to be here and good to be around the people that were around me when I was first coming up (and a few others who have recently become friends).

oh well theres always something new that could pop up on the site, i think hes just saying that its always a work in progress.

Someone up there said it, nitro maybe.. and i agree. It is very nice to be able to belong to a website with the people that taught me everything i know. I didnt always know things, nor have good connections, nor be able to do awesome things like get into a commercial shoot or construction tour. Thanks to a bunch of the senior members, some of which who now run this site I have learned so much more than i would have ever imagined i would.
