But then when we do ride Medusa... we can only ride once when we are allowed to stay on any row we want except the front!

Yeah, that sucks about Chiller...I hate to see it like that. Hey, so we should get a group picture or something ok. I'll call you later!

Chuck, I think we had it bad... too much complaining... anyway, back on topic... I'll bring a girl with me to opening day that won't complain... well maybe a little... the only thing she'll whine about is not going on Nitro enough (I can live with that)

Wow Chuck, you're making me feel luckier than ever, lol.  The only complaining I get is "The Terror Trails scare me".  I'm always stuck in the position of constantly repeating "1. The trail isn't scary and 2. they're fun" while never getting to experience it. :(

Looks like it's pick on Chuck day.

My girl used to like coaster about 10 years ago
now shes got this fear about them and I'm trying to get her back on them.

the first was the wild mouse at Dorney last year and they are scary rides to begin with.
then got here on the Flying Unicorn,THe Mummy and the other kiddie coaster at Universal this year.

So my goal this year is the get her on rides that don't go upside down   ;)

Meeting times sound good

My family and I will be there opening day. Will end up hitting family rides first. Well maybe not. My wife waited all last winter to ride El Toro, when it was just about open ..she was just about 3 months pregnent. So she is dieing to ride El Toro. I hope it starts opening with the park but I won't count on it.

My wife even had a season pass a few years.  Those years are long gone!
One day last year she decided she wanted to ride Kingda Ka!
I couldn't pass on that small window of opportunity.
I got her on it the next day! And that is all she went on.
No lines in the park and still that was all she would go on once!

I am sure you have either Jerry or George's cell number so be sure to call them so we can get a Gadv Central Meeting. :)

April 2nd has made it onto the 15 day forecast at accuweather.com.
It seems they can't even predict the weather a day in advance these days.
So we all know how accurate this is:

Partly sunny and colder   High: 49 °F   Low: 34 °F

>>Jackson 15 Day Forecast<<

The day before the forecast high is 68 °F!

OUCH... bummer.  That is probably too cold for Kingda Ka, which we all know will result in annoying complaints online...

Like you said though, I have a feeling this forecast will keep changing lol

I hope opening day is not a Late April Fools joke

Monday  ?  :-\

By having it on Monday
I think they are going for a "soft opening"  to see how all the employees do  ?

Soft opening is exactly what went through my mind as well Tom.  Although I also have a feeling it might also be that a large percentage of the employees are on Spring Break that week as well.

Regardless, opening week should be a lighter load and hopefully allow everything to get into full swing before the crowds arrive.

Who know, maybe this is actually a good idea ?

OK
I see they are open all that week and the following week (Spring Brake)

Also Easter falls on April 8, 2007 season pass day again.

Anyone Know how or when they will announce what coasters will operate during the Midweek early open ?

One thing that surprised me is that the website mentions "Park will open Easter Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. just for Season Pass Holders" which is strange considering many times, the group buyout you are sharing the park with makes it more crowded than a usual Sunday this time of year.  Maybe it is ONLY season pass holders this year?

Anyway, to answer your question, I'd guess the main sixflags.com website will have it posted and I'm sure we'll be getting notified as well throughout the season.

As for opening day, its looking more and more like I'll be there :)

I believe the group that was usually there on Easter Sunday will be having their day on Thursday April 5th.

>Click Here For Details -> 26th Annual NCSY Chol Hamoed Passover Spectacular at Six Flags Great Adventure<.

So it looks like Easter Sunday is for Season Pass Holders only this year!
But definitely avoid Thursday!
