WDW and Myrtle Beach trip ....
« on: August 11, 2007, 11:05:21 AM »
Well WDW was amazing as usual . Yes the wand and word Epcot is comming down as we speak the word epcot is already gone as seen in my photos at the end . We stayed at the new All Star Music Suites that sleep 6 and have to say we were impressed . It worked out great for us , they had activities everyday at the pool for the kids as well as movies at night . The room was in the first building so it was close to everything for the WDW nuts here it is a "perfered" setting and well worth the money . Especially at night getting off the buses and in the morning getting to the bus.

Into  the parks every park had something to offer my son and we had great family moments he is 44 inches so we rode all the mountains he LOVES space mountain and EE. The only two rides he couldn't do was Rockin Rollercoaster and premaviral Whirl (SP) at AK. Other then that we rode everything . We did the laugh floor at MK twice just to see if we really like it or not . I have to say sometimes it is just better then others depending on the two jokes they pick form the ones sent in. We did notice people winning Dream fast passes as well as a group of people that won a chance to see the fireworks at the top of the astro orbiter in MK . That had to be pretty cool if I do say so myself. We didn't win anything but we did have a few magical moments . upon check in we were in line and i believe a manager of the hotle was talking to my son and returned with a stuffed mickey for him.  :) very nice. In MK my son had his mister potato head choosen to be put on the shelf so he got a small cert. for that . This was in the tent in Toon Town. And in AK we were given fast passes at the safari ride from an attendent without even going to the machines. These were our magical moments .

Out of WDW on to Myrtle Beach . Well first thing we do at the beach is go to the HRP preview center. I didn't take pictures inside but we did go through and it was pretty cool. They insist they are on track for opening in may of 08 . Well I hope they are really going to work everyday from now till then . We did notice them working on almost all the buildings but only saw the zep. coaster being worked on as far as rides go. there was red track in the parking lot near the zep. track but no sign of it moving .  we noticed the price was about $50 per person and well that is kind of steep for down there for a new park . I didn't see a childs price either . I also have to say that i over heard a couple that must live in the area saying that they heard there  is only enough room for 5,000 cars to park there. I wonder if that is enough for a park that big? I guess we will have to wait and see.
Here are a few photos we had a great two weeks but now we have to get ready for SCHOOL  :P.                                                                              We have lots more photos of AK ,MK ,Epcot as well as MGM but too many to post here . I have to say that my son enjoyed it alot and we got to see Lighting McQueen in MGM as well as Buzz and Woddy . I think out of all the parks MGM is the one they need to inject some new stuff into to keep it hopping after star tours, TOT , RNR and the stunt show we were kind of board we did do The muppets but not too much more after that .
