KK on megastructures

set your tivos on the 25th there will be a megastructures show on the National Geographic chanal at 8:00 all on KK

After browsing through the National Geographic website looking for times, I discovered that the Megastructures: Ultimate Roller Coaster (featuring Kingda Ka) will first air on 11/9 at 1am! Then it will be on 11/13 at 4pm, and 11/15 at 6pm.

This is special to us because our pictures should be included on the program!

UPDATE: The first showing of this special is actually Tuesday, 10/25, at 8PM! Earlier (and a better time) than we had thought!

i wonder if it will be good it says in the description of constrution so it should be intresting

Yeah, we are pretty excited to see some of our stuff on TV. I hope we spot which pictures are ours.

they used stuff from your website on there show?

Yeah, they had us sign a release form for using some of the pictures we had taken for their show. So any pictures of the train under the tarp when it broke down is ours. Esp since Im pretty sure we are the only ones with pictures of that.

I added a vote to the top because I'm curious as to what people thought of this show.

I thought it was actually decent and a nice break from the typical coaster shows.  Plus, it was awesome seeing some of the workings of Ka up close.

Did anyone miss this show?  Is it worth my effort to upload it to the site?

I missed it and stew's upload is giving me trouble.  It's worth it to me, but most likely only me. lol.

I thought that it was awsome! Besides that they were very dramatic. It covered the construction very well and the testing, I had no idea that they started testing strait for 24 hours :shock:

What i loved about the show the most was the fact that they actually showed how the launch worked. I always got confused about the catch car.
