The Chiller

i keep forgetting to post the pictures i took of the chiller up close near the end of the season. i actually went to the location and even touched a track piece (just couldn't resist.  ) if i don't get them up tonight then i will definitely try get them up tomorrow. i do have to say the pieces are getting a bit rusty and the paint is extremely faded.

It is for sale. No one wants to buy a ride with a bad rep for maintenance. That's why Great Adventure still has Ka. ;-)

Thanks for sharing the pics.  Amazingly sad sight to see .  What really sucks is that the removal was nothing but a knee jerk reaction of the previous regime.  After seeing the recent Superman redo, I'd have to think this ride could have been saved.  New technology and a re-launch of the attraction would have done wonders.

It's was at the same spot seen from Google earth. It's actually a public road that kinda dead ends.

It's sad to see it in such a state. I still remember how good it was looking after that paint job before they took it down.
