Looney Toons Seaport?
« on: May 11, 2009, 05:52:45 PM »
Ok, I'm sure someone probably has mentioned this before, but what happened to the Sea plane and boat rides across from that crazy foam ball building.  I was sitting on a bench Sunday enjoying the sunshine waiting for the kids attacking their dad with foam balls and when he came out asked me if I noticed two rides were gone!   ???

I don't know what happend to them but they were removed during the off season and were not there on opening day . My guess as to why they were removed is as good as yours .

My quess is Age, and Staffing. Most of Last Season they "Rotated" Operators on them. And with the Planes they have quite a few similar Rides, Big Red Planes, Royal Elephant's, Etc...

Well, I just saw all 3 of the rides there today including the elephants. Not sure if they are certified and ready to open yet. It is nice to see that wall down finally!

I didn't look too closely today but I'll presume the train is finished?  Have they still left it parked in the back for all to see?

The train in National Park was closed with no sign as well on Saturday . That is the train that looks like a stage coach right ?? I was pretty sure that is done for too . :(

It is ashame, the National Park Train is pretty unique. Well at least it is still there, maybe during the "peak" Season it will open.
