I bet he's referring to the one that was at Great Adventure, which IMO was the worst of the bunch.

I've never had a bad ride on SFoG's Ninja. I actually thought it was pretty cool for what it was on my three trips there. I even found the back to be smoother than the front.

I'd say the Myrtle Beach Pavilion's Hurricane was worse than Rolling Thunder, but I still enjoyed it. The back seat had some awesome airtime going into the first helix. It was rough, but not that bad.

Dinn/Summers made some great rides. Despite their poor construction, Timber Wolf, Texas Giant and Georgia Cyclone are still darn good rides. Predator is hit or miss. Timber Wolf to me is kind of like Rolling Thunder to Dan, except Timber Wolf was ranked number 1 for several years until Cedar Fair came in and started ruining it.

sorry yes I was refering the to infamous "standup roller coaster" i called it the nut cruncher with a side neck pain, back ache, and the early beginnings of scoliosis. I am not sure my back has ever been right since

I've always liked Shockwave, you just have to know how to get the restraint locked to where you want it.

when i was at cedar point, mantis, which is a b&m stand up can be a nut cruncher too. i didn't like it when they force the restraints up so i can't get enough room. it's rather hard to walk after going on it a couple times is a row, but it's also the fact i was walking all day.

The whole stand-up concept was a bit of a lemon. I guess thats why none have been built since 1999, even though B&M's website still lists it as a current model. I'd like to get on Riddlers one day just to give the best one a shot.

Check out this commercial I found for CW's stand-up coaster. It's virtually a clone to shockwave at KD, or King Cobra at KI.

I once rode predator 17 rides in a row a rainy summers day in 1993ish... Not a good idea!
For those who are not aware of predator it's shakey even for a Summers/Dinn

Iv never been on a stand-up. I've seen one, but never tried it. Im sorta afraid now because I tried Superman and it was worse then I thought. Should I try it. Is it painful, or am I just over reacting. If thats the case then I might be willing to give it a shot...
