Fights At Concert Draw Police Presence

...'We responded from a call from Jackson P.D. when some large crowds were gathering and there was concern that things could potentially get out of hand," Jones said. 'We sent a fairly large contingent of state troopers out there from three different units, including from the K-9 unit.'

Jones declined to give an exact count on the number of state troopers called in.

When the park closed at 10 p.m., state troopers formed a barrier line to ensure park goers exited in an orderly fashion.  No incidents or arrests were reported, Jones said.

'They assisted with park security and Jackson Police to clear the park out," Jones
said. 'The force that we had there worked exactly as planned - it was an effective
deterrent for any unruly activity.'
