Great Adventure Opens April 9th, 2011

Just as a note, the official site states that Six Flags Great Adventure will open for the 2011 season on April 9th, 2011! Which is a Friday, interestingly enough. Is it spring break week? Which is a Saturday, as it has been the past few years.

I have the 9th as a Saturday and NYC schools have off the 18th to the 26 of april !

I'm honestly shocked they didn't pull a CF and start opening on May 1st moving forward.. There must be a large enough profit to justify opening in April.

They want to get all the rides warmed up before spring break, they usually gather a large crowd during the weekends in previous years.

I don't think I will be going to any Six Flags until I go down to Texas to ride Texas Giant 2.0 and I'm not sure when that will be.
