The one thing I found out about the metric system is that the U.S. government is 0-6 on trying to shift into the metric system. Why can't they be like Canada and have both?

My guess is 45 and up don't understand metric. Imperial is however the universal launguage of tradesmen.

I, for one, am a LOT older than that. And I was taught the metric system and told that the old system would be gone by 1975.

Didn't happen.
