Q4 Web Cast
« on: February 26, 2011, 02:02:58 PM »
Has anyone else listened to the Q4 conference call.  I listened and was wondering if anyone else found the following to be of interest:

1. Only 2 people had questions.  In the past when Shapiro led these calls there were lot of questions.  I wonder why only 2 now?

2. Has Six Flags given up on the 50th anniversary celebration?  In the past 2011 was being billed as the biggest season ever and that all revolved around the company's 50th anniversary.  Now there is nary a mention of it anywhere.

Curious of other people's opinions?

You will find quite a bit of discussion of it here:

Not much info there on the lack of questions or the fact that the 50th anniversary seems to have been forgotten.

It's not at Six Flags Over Texas....and that is the flagship park.

I was astonished at the lack of questions...but the company's financial performance is such that stock analysts (and that is who is allowed to ask questions) have little to ask, right now at least.
