It's kind of weird that the Green Lantern Roller Coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure has no theming or special effects. I heard the other ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain has theming. Why did'nt they do any special effects? Like fire or smoke or you know lightning/thunder effects?

I love themeing on rides! It makes the ride more fun and exciting! Look at THE DARK KNIGHT Coaster and Bizarro. Both rides are themed and are good. It's harder to theme outdoor rides then indoor rides. Bizarro did it right however, THE DARK KNIGHT and Skull Mountain should be more themed then they are and both should be longer.

I agree with Skull Mountain, not Dark Knight.  I took one on my friends on skull mountain for the first time and he said, "It was good, but it needs a story... badly"

It's saddening to see because that area with the right theming could be awesome. You have Superman and the Green Lantern, Superheros that chase villains. I have been hoping for years that Superman would get more theming. Im not asking for a Disney kind of expense, but I have faith especially with Bizarro....

Bizarro was the new-old Six Flags though. Green Lantern is the only judgement of the current management...and it's not too shabby.
