Screamscape has SFGAdv getinng a flat `package`for the 2012 season... Hmmm a package could be awesome. Didn`t seem to imply a kiddie package either. Any thoughts? It could go alot of different way. I wouldn't expect 3 multi million dollar flats. Pehaps a windseeker? ;)

I figured when that was posted we would have a threead on it. I hope it's a nice basic package with bumper cars and a few other quality flats.

Now I'm surprised no one posted about Iron Wolf possibly being moved to Six Flags America for 2012. Of course the person who threw that one out there was probably just crazy and wanted the rumor of a new ride out there.

I'll get a list of flats we need:
-Drop Tower
-Observation Tower
-Flyers
-Bumper Cars (and good ones, too!)
-Frisbee
-Techno Jump
-Looping Starship
-Condors
-Calypso
-Scrambler
-Enterprise!!!!
-Swings

Add what else you feel is needed... The list can only grow from here

Frisbee, drop tower, and maybe a starflyer-esq ride could fill some holes.  Oh, and a top spin or top scan would be nice.  I hope they go with a decent sized flat package and fill in some holes.

I didn't because I didn't renew my season pass this year.

EDIT: I actually did get it, it automatically went in my trash bin for some reason  ::)

Some of the names were pure awesomeness I'll list the ones I remember:
-Blackhawk (one of my personal faves)
-Superman's Tower of Power
-Joker's Tower of Power
-Batwing
-V2/ Vertical Velocity
-SkyScreamer
-Psyclone
-Pandemonium
-Spindemonium
-Shockwave

ugh, too many lol... I swear they had about 200 of them. Maybe I could take it again and write down the names next time... ;D

And speaking of the devil, I also asked them nicely to lay off the DC characters (but I did like the lex luthor names) and to look into a Gravity Group woodie...

The only one I remember that was 100% original was Blackhawk... All of the other one's had some sort of influence from other names or were already used, or were just some random thing with a number (Like OMG!400).

LOL..I did the same exact thing in the comments section at the end of the survey.
Lets say I would have preferred the Jersey Devil over The Green Lantern.

I kind of passed that hint, too. Look into more original names and especially ones that fit with local folklore.

From a cost/benefit perspective, I see them sticking to their own IP or only associating with sponsers for ride names and theme (See what happened to Fantasy Fling?).  I guess there could be a few mega coasters in the pipeline that warrant the spending but they've made it very clear they don't want to keep paying for these licenses.  Just see Tony Hawk, Terminator, etc. for an example.  And honestly, I think this has been the main purpose of the survey going around; to gauge the publics appetite.

With that said, we obviously need flats and high capacity ones at that so these likely won't be your typical carinval ride.

And I believe screamscape already posted mention but Iron Wolf obviously isn't going anywhere.

Sky Swat no, Max Air maybe.  The swats have way too low of capacity for a park like Gadv.

Yeah a giant frisbee, screaming swing (the big ones), and a high capacity drop tower or tower complex from S&S or intamin are needed at that park.

MaxAir is super fun to me. The frisbee at Wonderland is much much much worse than MaxAir. What they should do is post pictures of about 20 flat rides and each week put an X through 1 of them until there is only 3 left. It would create some good buzz.

Well Great Adventure should invest in a frisbee or something related to it, because Funtown Pier got a small one this year and right now it's pretty damn popular with the tourists. They also got an old Top Spin from Luna Park which is in pretty bad shape and is waiting for parts from the Manufacturer.

Maybe we could get a maelstrom or something, that thing was FUN in morey's last year.
