New York Bans Sodas over 16 ozs

New York has approved a ban of any sugary drink over 16 ozs. I don't understand whats going on anymore.

People actually drink sodas larger than 16 oz. at restaurants? Damn that's absolutely amazing, I couldn't stomach more than one in a sitting and I've been drinking Soda since I was 4.

The fighting obesity part is hilarious though, if they really want to fight that they should just ban fast food in general (keep nathan's please!).

That's what the mayor's defense is:

"if you don't like the law just order two."

Yeah sure I'd totally spend $5.35 for two sodas when the 32 oz. equivalent was $3.85...

No Wade they don't care ... I just think he is like a NANNY more then a mayor .. If I want to eat and drink myself into a sugar coma then LET ME DO IT !! I cant get a 16OZ soda but I can go to the local Applebees and get a 32OZ beer with dinner ! Now that makes sence ! LOL

Ok don't they have sugar packets in the stores or was that banned Already,,
I don't drink soda anyway,, I'm surprised they didn't ban forks and knives so no one hurts themselves

what about those 2000 calorie hamburgers or
look out i may be stupid enough to not know to lift my leg when walking up or down a curb and hurt myself
