Open every day until April 1st. They cut out some of the days due to schools cutting back.

We'll be there on Sunday to avoid the concert crowds.  Anyone else?

I can't believe that the new season is already upon us. This was a quiet, but quick offseason.
Peep the concept, you've got progress, you've got congress
We protest in hopes they confess, just proceed on your conquest

I just wanna be free, I ain't finna be nobody's chattel

Curious to hear how they do this weekend getting things open. Hopefully it's nothing like the reports are from SFA lol.

Feel better Matt!

At the park from opening til 1PM Sunday.
Rides don't like the cold...so it really isn't a fair opening weekend.

-Bizzaro is one step back to Medusa.  Goodbye sound system hello 4 back row seats!
-Sky Screamer got a lighting package.
-El Toro no operatato
-Checked Ka = slow 1 train operation.  Surprised they even tried.
-Nitro often had no trims at all!  Station needs some paint.
-Congo Rapids looks to be getting lots of wood replaced at the station.
-Rolling thunder is supposedly very good this year.  Didn't find out..testing but didn't open while I was there.
-Houdini got some TLC.  Preshow makes a little more sense now.
-Special entrance for Premium Pass Holders this year.
-They really couldn't get the new Safari ready for opening day?  Sigh.

Cold and cranky...had enough.
As a wise man said.."Too cold for coasting."  or I'm getting old.

Thanks for the update Ken. That just makes me laugh about Bizzaro. Good waste of money Six Flags, just like most of the other things they do....

ET finally opened around 1:30 yesterday.  Strange thing is they started letting people into the queue around 12:45, but just kept sending train after train of water dummies.  They then announced that they wouldn't open until the first part of the queue was full.  Never heard that ridiculous rule before!  People kept leaving the queue because they weren't opening it so it was frustrating to say the least.  When it did open, it was 1 train operation.

Rolling Thunder was finally open after we got off RT so we took a ride on that.  Also 1 train operation.

Batman the Ride was also 1 train and the second train was not even on the transfer track yet.  First time we've ever seen Batman's 2nd train MIA.

Can't comment on anything else since all we rode besides the above 3 coasters was Nitro.  Never seen so many 1 train operations whether it be due to the cold or the additional trains not even being on the tracks yet.

Thanks for the updates.  Although it doesn't excuse the fact that the 2nd and in some cases 3rd trains weren't anywhere around, the reason for the 1 train operations was the weather.  El Toro in particular needs full trains to go out when it's cold.  It still worries me though if they don't get things ready this week because the weather looks much better later in the week!

I did see Nitro's third train in pieces behind the shed while siting on the break run Saturday . Many issues Saturday between employees not knowing things ( season pass dining )  and one train operations ( on almost all rides )  it did not start out too well but it was not the worst thing ever . I say the park is not ready due to the weather and early spring break for so many schools !

Nitros third train is almost always not ready until a few weeks into the season.
