This is quite the sad story. I wonder how everything's going to play out in the investigation. I wouldn't be surprised if they find that the lapbar was mechanically sound and she was too large for the ride. That seems to be a common trend in these types of incidents. :-/

Makes me so sad.  Besides the family of the victim, I can't even imagine being the crew operating the ride.  Unfortunately, this will stay with them the rest of their lives as well.

I saw a guest berating a ride-op and because he wasn't allowed to ride El Toro last night.  Gotta love it....   And the El Toro train wrapped in the Kia design was hauling last night.
