Greek's Playland / Stone Museum
« on: February 27, 2014, 05:38:29 PM »
Many years ago there were little signs all over Monmouth County pointing to "the Stone Museum".
One day I decided to figure out what it was sll about.  Boy was I surprised when I finally made it there.
It's hard to explain the Stone Museum / Greek's Playland...but it is a place that is so hard not to like.

It was recently shutdown by the town..but I just saw that the town of Monroe has decided to grant the Greeks final wish and it will live on forever!  The Greek is amazing and I'm so happy he is getting what he wanted.

I remember going there as a kid for a Geology class field trip. Very neat and beautiful little place that definitely needs more attention.
