:-)SFI(-:

So another weekend passes,
many guests had a ball.
I think it's fair to say,
that this was a better weekend overall.

On Saturday, Ka was closed,
because of all the rain.
Nobody wants to ride Ka in the rain,
cause everyone will leave in pain.

On Sunday Ka ran perfect,
for a majority of the day.
It ran three trains for the morning and early afternoon hours,
then they took the orange train away.

I really enjoyed my visits to the park this week,
but unfortunately there isn't many updates to say.
Except the park is really banking on having our Bull,
ready for Memorial Day.

:-)SFI(-:

I am going to make a prediction,
a prediction that really isn't meek.
But from what I am hearing from the folks at a certain ride,
the "opposing side" will be opening next week.

"Till next time, my friends."

You know you made that last poll option for me.

There were some positive reports of the park for Sunday.  It's nice to see good reports about Great Adventure and not the typical SF bashing that usually happens.  I hope this keeps up through the rest of the season, because I've heard that SFMM is already backsliding.
Peep the concept, you've got progress, you've got congress
We protest in hopes they confess, just proceed on your conquest
I ain't got no gavel, I ain't finna fight nobody battle
I just wanna be free, I ain't finna be nobody's chattel

The rain prevented me from visiting this weekend but, A classmate of my youngest's mom went on Sunday and said she and the kids had a great time and that the BBNP was a huge hit with her crew as well.  :D

A visit last weekend to GAdv?  Not that lucky...
Instead I went to Six Flags in Kentucky...

Characters?  Yes.  Papa John's?  That's right!
$6.99 a slice, at day or at night.

The park was clean, the restrooms attended...
but the ride ops had attitudes, the park was deserted.

Can't blame the $15 parking fee
As the state owns the lot, you see...

$5 to park, a beautiful day
The park empty, not making hay.

Especially on T2, the ride op was surly and hateful,
My companions were upset, and that's no bull...

Sndyer and Shapiro have their work cut out for them...
They are ALL named Six Flags, a bad experience at one is bad news for all their kin!

No Great Adventure for me this past weekend, SFA instead, with good things to say for once, in an upcoming trip report.
The world is coming to an end, I've actually created a blog!

Can't wait to see it! I went to Six Flags America last year after skipping out on it for about 3 years and I wasn't to impressed. Superman at SFA is a great ride, as is Batwing. I know it's a smaller park, so I always keep that in mind. It's just I am so spoiled up here at Great Adventure!!
