This thread will contain any site changes, big or small.

One tweak you may have noticed yesterday was the addition of the other three RSS feeds. A tweak that was just done tonight was the removal of the white border from the smilies that had one. If I missed any, let me know.

Turned on folder tree view instead of single line view for forum location.

New Tweaks:
You now return to the topic by default after posting
You will see a popup when you recieve a new PM
A copy of each PM you send will be sent to your outbox by default instead of dissappearing like before

I love the whole new layout. Provides for fast sharing of information as well as easier use. Good work guys.

Psst is there a spell checker on here or what? If so, where? I dont see it in the options above me.

This is BETA guys, but for those that are techi enough to use it, play around with our WAP access. We are aware of one glitch... basically, the link at the very bottom to go back to the root of the forum doesn't work correctly. Regardless, it still works and we are curious what kind of demand there might be for those of you with internet phones. Enjoy and let us know if you used it

I tried on my Cingular 8125 Pocket PC phone while out today to access the site and got an error.
I didn't know what the problem was but will try above link.
I can browse "normal" websites so will give it a try/test tomorrow.

Well, we narrowed down the list of themes that work the best. Some of these are really designed for 1280x1024 so if it doesn't fit your screen, that is why.

We are also aware of the weather box problem on the Enterprise theme and will be working on a way to get the font color to change for you.

Go to your profile settings to try them out!

Hey all. Im posting via phone for fun and its nice to see several people trying it out. Now you guys have on excuse for not keeping us all up to date while you're in the park! :afro: I also saw for the first time that the word "new" pops up in brackets emulating the blue new icon. Good stuff.

Somewhat old tweak:
While we were playing with the dark themes, I noticed that the smilies needed some cleaning up, so I got rid of the unnecessary pixels that gave them a jagged look. Enjoy your round smilies!

New tweak:
The weather sticker has been changed to a non-transparent one so that it can work on the dark themes. This sticker is smaller, but provides similar info. Also the background of the sticker changes to suit the weather conditions. It is still clickable so that you can go to www.wunderground.com and see a more detailed forecast.

Yeah, that's the know error we were talking about. You can travel down from the wap index, but you can not travel up in levels to the wap index because it's looking for the URL. As simple as "just change the URL!" is, is just how complicated it is.

Yep. The 'default' url for the wap access is http://gadvupdates.com/forums/index.php?wap. But because of TinyPortal being added to it, the 'action=wap' has to be added. Because we gave you guys the correct url, you can get to the index and surf down levels, but when going up it looks for the wrong place.

Users of the Babylon theme (All 124 of you) should see some different icons telling you if a post is hot, very hot, stuck, etc. I took the ones from the default SMF theme and moved them here since they should be easier to differentiate. Some of the icons didn't transfer over apparently, so I will fix the ones that are stuck on the old set later tonight when I get back in. Enjoy!

A tweak to fix an oopsie. I forgot to turn on the karma log for regular members. Now you can see who changed your karma and why.

I am 99% sure I fixed the WAP access. I've successfully gone from the list of posts in a specific board to the board index using my WAP enabled phone. If you have one, suft the site via WAP and tell me if you run across any issues.
