Wow, being the fact Iv'e never seem El Toro testing yet, it really blew me away, great video insider, it makes me more excited to ride it as it crusies over those hills and runs through the turnaround with perfect execution!

Great Video.
The train goes up the hill "freakishly" Fast
and the trains going to the turn around is very quit like the beginning of a oncoming
thunderstorm wind ( a gentle roar) listen at the beginning of the video.
I'm ready to ride now.

To stop and check if anything is wrong, no sense of tearing the ride a new lift during testing.

This is a brand new system for woodies.. id imagine there are tons of precautions to take before actually just letting it roll right through.  Its not that big of a deal really.  As a matter of fact, since it has 2 trains, perhaps this could be a possible block break if needed.

^That idea would work, but then we wouldn't get the speed around the hairpin turn before the drop...

^That's oddly evil and great. Now to get the state to approve, the second train operating, <100 hours of testing, and anything else to get this thing running.

^Not that I don't have the time to read through 152 pages over at the source, but you could just make it easier and explain Why here.   ;)

Very funny looking dummies in the front of that train .  :o

I am thinking that this ride may open soon. If we all rmember that only a few days maybe a week after KK got it's first human test dummies didn't it open to the GP? I could be wrong but that is what I was thinking. Sure wish I was one of those dummies  ;).

If El Toro opens on a weekday, i'm going to have to put in a "personal day" request at work. Personal day requests must be made 24hours in advance, i'd like at least 48 hours. If  i call in sick, i'll get 1 more attendance point. i already have one from last wednesday when i called in sick due to a stomach virus. 6 points get you fired. so you see why i'd like as much warning as possible.

I know, the attendance point system at OTC sucks diesel exhaust. But it succeded in driving out alot of good people and keeping in alot of bad ones >:(

Somehow, it seems that Great Adventure is a business.  They will open the ride as quickly as it is safe to do so.  With or without notice to anyone, as they deem best for the business.

I know many of us would like to know when. Sometimes that is possible, sometimes it isn't.

It will be open.  Soon, no doubt.  And we will all get our chances to ride it.

I know patience is hard, but the park has a multi-million dollar investment here, wants to promote it and the park as well as it can, and wants to do the right thing.

We have to trust them.  They are doing the best they can for safety, for the park and for us all.
