Seriously was that it? Umm, there was one shot of KK going over the hill, and they didn't even mention it by name...

I can rip the 5 min segment off that mainly discussed a brief history of Roller Coasters and how "Upwards Friction Wheels" and "Tubular Steel Track" are "Made in America!"

I was expecting a lot more. :(

Guess I will just be deleting it off my TiVo then. I am sure people want to see that though Stew so I am going to say upload it.

Total let down.  I'll let Kristin know just in case she was mis-lead by Discovery because the note she sent me made it out to be something completely different (which is what I posted at the beginning of this thread)

I think Kingda Ka had a 3 second clip used.

That is why I TiVo'd it was because of what Kristin had said. Maybe Discovery is going to get in trouble or we misinterpreted what was supposed to happen. Anyway nothing beats riding it so it doesn't matter :)

LOL Stew

And to those that are infuriated by the original post (that I started), sorry :)

We only passed along what we were told.  We can't help it if a certain TV show mis-represented how the footage was being used.

We apologize if anybody is horribly upset over it but there really isn't much we can do.  These things happen.

Thanks Stew.  Wade, I'm also surprised at this because she said it was going to be  a great show. Maybe it was a completely different show all together she was talking about?   Well,  in any case was the bicycle part any good.  :o

Yeah, I Ff'd to the Coaster section, watched it, then went back to watch the rest. The Bicycle Card Factory and the Lock Factory were pretty cool too.

It's only good in that it shows a quick history of the rollercoaster.
and at 5 minutes it's a keeper
Also thanks for the upload stew I have it on DVD already but you saved me the time to encode it
