Possible Site Outage

I'm finally getting around to fixing our DNS issues with our host provider so that GadvUpdates.com points directly to the root of our site.

Once this has been resolved, you will no longer need to enter gadvupdates.com/forums (though a redirect will be there just in case).

This should speed up the site as well since we'll no longer have our domain at one provider with the site hosted at another.

Any downtime should be minimal so hang in there!

The site root has yet to change and its starting to really annoy me.   They claimed 24-48 hours which has long past.

At least the MX record updated finally.  Unfortunately, I think the site might have slowed down for a few of us that had no speed issues before while it is now much faster for others (like me!)

It definitely is going faster today than it was the past few days. I know the site was down last night when I tried getting on the page.

FYI - I attemped yet again to have the domain pointer fixed.  So there could be another short outage.

IF IT WORKS, expect our home page to be http://gadvupdates.com instead of /forums. - though I'll believe it when I see it LOL

Again, as a reminder, IF there is a site outage, be prepared to acccess our actual site by just going to http://gadvupdates.com or http://www.gadvupdates.com after it goes live again. 

Once this change is complete (hopefully this week), you will no longer need to enter /forums every time or be redirected.

I really REALLY hope to have this done this week because it is holding us up on some major upgrades.

Its faster then what it has been before. Kudos on that! What are some of these upgrades? ^_^
