Kingda Ka Dethroned at Kings Island

Son Of Beast

If the father scared you, wait until you ride the son! The Tallest, Fastest Coaster on the Planet will send you screaming down it's 214-foot hill at speeds over 78 mph.
You've never experienced anything like this before. Not anywhere. Not ever.

Then again, what can we expect from the same company (Cedar Fair) that took months to take down the "World's Tallest, Fastest Coaster" signs at Cedar Point after Kingda Ka opened?

In any event, I bet this gets changed soon...

Maybe they missed placed the word "wooden" somewhere.

Yep.

How convenient.

Not to mention the thing is not even currently operational (which may be one reason it and only it lists no height requirement).

Seems they lost the word "wooden".

Maybe they'll find it down the road....for now...SoB, fastest, tallest coaster!

Its not Cedar Fair that did this, it was Paramount. That was their before the takeover.

No, it was NOT.  In case you haven't noticed, Cedar Fair recently removed the loop.  When CEDAR FAIR removed the looping language, they also removed the wooden language.  Six Flags would have noticed that a long time ago, had it been there before the takeover.

The thing even has the height of the lift hill wrong now, 214 feet.  That's the drop.  Unless, of course, the ride is also being reprofiled substantially while the loop is being removed.  Even it is, I doubt the website would be how they would tip their hand to that.

Even the picture with it has changed...the former picture featured the loop!

One they've known about for several days now, and still not corrected.  If this were Six Flags that had made the error, you can be SURE the Sandusky folk would be raising Cain!

Yes, I did notice, and you dont have to get so aggravated about it.

It is funny though what a few mistypes can come out to be.
