Thanks for posting this info- I'll definitely be watching. It will be very interesting to see the construction of Tatsu among the terrain and other factors.

Plus, these Discovery shows are very theatrical and very fun to watch.

Oh I love the drama in these. In the KK episode they were like..."DUN DUN DUN! If this train doesn't make it over, right now, the ride WILL NEVER OPEN!"

They over exagerate EVERYTHING. and I LOVE IT!

Yep...they know their audience.

You will note THEIR specials continue, while the ones on most of the cable networks have fallen off drastically.

Then again, with the changes in the theme park business at Six Flags and Cedar Fair in particular, we may be in for a bit of dry spell soon...

By the way, it's Discover credit card and Discovery channel.  People seem to mix the two words all the time.

Roller Coaster
At Six Flags Magic Mountain the worlds longest, fastest and tallest Flying Roller Coaster is under construction. If the Park can't get the ride up, tested and ready for the Spring break crowds 2007 this 21 million dollar investment won't be worth a penny.

You aren't missing much Tom.  While I love any show involving coasters, this one was a bit over the top.   There were way too many imminent doom moments.  The most interesting part of all was simply learning why it ended up opening so late.  Much like Ka, the weather was the biggest hurdle.  Only we had wind and snow while they had tons and tons of rain.

The show was ok...Just about what I expected. 
Ohh the drama!! Will it get done in time!

For all the fuss they made about that concrete pad being the wrong size..
It sure was removed quite quickly!

I watched it on Saturday... it wasn't bad but it certainly was overly dramatic.
