Anyone catch the Hard Rock Park episode of Colossal Construction on the Discover Science Channel?
My ReplayTV snagged it without me knowing it!
It is a shame this place won't be open again.
It looks like it had potential, but it doesn't look like it ever was completely finished.

Worth a watch if it airs again.

Some people are picky.

PVR may refer to:

    * Personal Video Recorder, also known as a digital video recorder

Thanks for the heads up Ken.  My PVR is set :D.  Although I thought tonights show kinda sucked.  And I'm not just saying that because of Voyage :).  Seriously though, a sand park for sand boarders?  While I'll admit that's cool, it isn't really a "ride" but whatever.

That show was lame, Schlitterbahn and Voyage wanted to save it but couldn't.

**Just found mega speed will be on tonight @10, hopefully this is a little better.

If anyone has not seen the show Undercover Boss, Joel Manby, President and CEO of Herschend Family Entertainment will be the topic this Sunday at 9 on CBS.

Here is a preview: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/undercover_boss/video/?pid=a9qUIKA_LZ7w6tjH_GsEtVa0Iy9bJ2xS&vs=homepage&play=true

For anyone that has not seen it, it is a very good show in my opinion, and I would recommend it to anyone. If you want to watch any of the past episodes, all of them are on CBS's website. http://www.cbs.com/primetime/undercover_boss/

Oct 21st - Worlds Toughest Fixes - Ultimate Water Ride
« Reply #59 on: October 18, 2010, 07:35:38 PM »
This show is usually pretty good...not like that show that Bert show.

National Geographic Channel - Worlds Toughest Fixes - Ultimate Water Ride

Worlds Toughest Fixes is going on one wild ride - as we build the worlds longest water coaster, using some amazing new technology that could change the future of theme park rides - and modern transportation. Our destination - a quaint little town known as Santa Claus, Indiana, home to one of Americas classic amusement parks - Holiday World. Their latest creation is the Wildebeest. This eighteen hundred foot long ride combines the ups and downs of a traditional roller coaster with the big splashes of a water ride. And it uses some high-tech engines and the power of magnets to power it.

This park has an injured roller coaster -- and Riley is along for the ride as the engineers attempt to nurse it back to health.

Thanks for the heads up Tom.  Just finished watching it.  I wish they had focused a bit more on the South Jersey shore like Wildwood and Ocean City but as usual, they focused on the more well known stuff.  Still a good show regardless and great to see an actual TRAVEL related show on the Travel Channel!
