Season Pass Mailer Question
« on: March 12, 2007, 06:57:35 PM »
I recieved our passes today and I would assume everybody else did as well.  I was curious if anybody on here activated through this process as of yet because I couldn't find a way to obtain a parking pass on my season pass if I used these.

But I like the concept of not waiting in a line to process a voucher :).

I got an e-mail saying they were mailing me one, but I haven't received it yet.  I was wondering why they would do that since I already bought my pass for next year.  I'm guessing it's probably because my name changed.

I think they automatically mail them out regardless if you already renewed last year.  I guess its one of those things where its cheaper to just mass mail everybody vs. trying to keep track of who already bought one and who didn't.

You not getting one yet already has me nervous Sue lol

Did you purchase one outright or did you renew via the pre-made season pass they mailed out?

I renewed / got mine last Oct.
and just today I got the mailer with Tina's (my girlfriend)  pass  but I didn't renew her's yet.
so looks like they just send them to everyone that didn't get one last year and everyone that had one last year.

I only got one in the mail (with Tina's name)  NOT another one for me.

SO it looks like if I wanted to buy it I would just have to activate and pay for it online.

6 free bring a friend tickets
I guess I get mine when I visit the first time in the gift shop like last year

I received my on Long Island.  Wade - I was wondering the same thing about the parking.  It mentions that we'll receive a sticker but I would like the "P" on my pass instead.  Looks like I'll just have to wait for the season to begin.

I just received my activated pass today. All it says is Parking on the bottom of the pass, hopefully it works out opening day.

When I got my pass at the park, they just put the sticker on it.  I thought the sticker was just for people who renewed their current pass, but they put it on my new pass.  I don't like how it says "Six Flags Great Adventure SPP".  I could see that being a problem at another SF park.

There really should be one uniform parking ID for all season pass parking at the parks--not some have stickers, some have a "P", some have "Parking", etc....

I bought mine last Oct for 2007 along with the parking pass
but the sticker on the pass says SPP-06

I think they have made a mistake as it looks like a 2006 not a 2007 parking pass  ?

When I asked about the SPP-06 at the end of last year they told me that was just the year it was purchased and that it would be fine.  I kept my receipt just in case.

I e-mailed the park to ask about the sticker saying 06.  The wrote back and told me if I'm uncomfortable about it that I could bring my pass to Guest Relations and they'll print parking on it.

I'm definitely going to take them up on that since I would be much more comfortable having it printed on the pass.

Great! I think I'll take them up on that replacement offer too.
That SPP06 sticker looks like it is destined to fall off or disintegrate.

peterpjr had the SPP-06 sticker on his pass and the parking attendant told him it was no good!
They would let him in only this one time, but he had to go to Guest Relations.
I didn't have any problems with mine that morning.
But I figured I would also take care of mine before it was an issue.

Guest Relations solution was to scrape off the SPP-06 sticker and placed a tiny red circle "07 Season Parking Pass" sticker in it's place.  And they didn't have an easy time scraping off the SPP-06 sticker, that thing wasn't coming off!

It is fixed...But I'm still keeping my receipt handy!
