Great Adventure Video 2007
« on: December 02, 2007, 11:59:40 AM »
Check out my 2007 Great Adventure video. All of the footage was recorded during the 2007 season. Enjoy!

Not a bad video. You just need to work on better transitions and a little more creative shots. It gets a little boring when you just follow the train around and around and around. But not a bad job though.

Yea i know what you mean about the lack of transitions, but when you use too many transitions, it looses the videos affect, imo. The video should focus more on the actual footagee than too many fancy transitions.

Nice video. I like the angles. Many of the shots made it look like a different park altogether.

I really enjoyed the video, nice job!

btw....I can't seem to download any of the videos off of xtremecoastin, they all download as small 2kb zip files that obviously do not house the real video file.  Anybody else have this problem?

No love for Rolling Thunder again Dan lol.  I like the slow-mo over the ejector hill on Toro, the splash down on MTWE and the fade/blur vision on Batman.  Nice job.

It's ok. It's a hard to get shots for it. I'm putting together a photo album from the track that I should have finished by Christmas.  http://darkridedan.smugmug.com/gallery/1923612/1/128573890

Did you shoot that on a high shutter?

Which would explain why I have no videos of Rolling Thunder. Don't worry, I enjoy Rolling Thunder. haha  Actually, I do have a quick video of the trains going up the lift hill, but it was a bit shaky and I had so much footage I tried to use my favorite ones.

This is a stupid question, but is a high shutter a type of camera? If it is I never heard of it.

Your camera captured allot of detail and subtle movements. It looks like you shot it with a digital camera with a high speed shutter option.

I have a Cannon Powershot SD 450, I got it 2 years ago. I just captured everything on the automatic video mode, so whatever the setting is, it seems to work well. I am planning to buy myself a video camera sometime before the 2008 season.  :)
