TR 4 Disney Parks in One Day 12/8/07
« on: December 15, 2007, 12:03:21 PM »
Since we hadn't been to Disney in about 5 years, it was time for a return visit.  As is our tradition, we visited all 4 parks in one day starting with Animal Kingdom at 9 am and ending at the Magic Kingdom at midnight.  Even though it was a bit more crowded than we expected, we still managed to ride everything we wanted plus more.  The only thing we passed on was Test Track due to the line(even the single rider line was long), but we had already ridden that on previous visits.  We also had the expert guidance of our friend, Chris, who used to work there(he was also an awesome Rolling Thunder operator at SFGAd before moving to FL).

First stop: Animal Kingdom
Ride Count: Expedition Everest(3x) and Dinosaur

This was our first time riding Expedition Everest.  It was fun, but nothing spectacular.

Next stop: MGM
Rides Ridden: Tower of Terror, Rock N' Roller Coaster, and Backlot Tour

Next stop: Epcot
Rides Ridden: Nemo(plus Turtle Talk with Crush show), Mission Space, Journey Into Imagination, and Gran Fiesta Tour boat ride in Mexico

Chris and I in Germany--too bad it's not the real thing!

I just had to take a picture of this!

Next stop: Magic Kingdom
Rides Ridden: Carousel of Progress, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Barnstormer, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain(2x), People Mover, Stich's Great Escape, Philharmagic, and Snow White's Scary Adventures

Neat!  Penny makes an appearance in a Updates photo TR all the way from FL lol

You guys are crazy Sue lol  I wouldn't even be able to do that since i need more time just to soak in the atmosphere.

No Soarin' love?

Nah, we decided to pass on Soarin' since we'd already ridden it at California Adventure.  Plus, that was the longest line we saw all day at 75 minutes.

Hopefully one of these days we'll be able to take a more leisurely pace at the Disney parks.  I'd also like to have the experience of staying on property.

Ahh, I hadn't realized you already hit up the one on the west coast.

You need to get back to see Lights Motors Action at MGM also :)

Nice PTR. I really enjoy the Carousel of Progress. The concept of how the ride works and was designed is really neat.

I love Carousel of Progress too.  I was thrilled that it was open this time since they had closed it during slow periods in the past.
