For the Skiers   Pics at Blue Mt. 12-20-07
Thursday was the only good day until maybe after the new year for Cold temps and low crowds so we went to Blue Mountain 20 minutes north of Allentown.
For those who think there is no snow out there
drive 90 miles north just 20 minutes past Dorney park. (yes it was to dark to stop at Dorney and take pics)
10MP greatly reduced. - I didn't take many good pics I wanted to ski  (next time)

Me  \/

Nice - open - No crowds for me \/

Looking at the New trail that will be open next year \/

Nice pictures. I've already been to Mountain Creek 4 times this season. I am on the ski team at my high school, so I am usually there 3 times a week. I can't wait to get on some real snow this year.  :)

We may need to plan a updates ski outing.  It's been 2 years for me and it pains me to see my equipment all dusty :(

I love BM because it is so close but IMO camelback has more challenging trails and better capacity back to the top.

Yes Camelback DID have the best uphill capacity until last year
when Blue added a 6 Pac (6 person highspeed lift )
so now Blue has a Highspeed quad AND a Highspeed 6 pac

Camelback has 2 highspeed quads

FYI stay away from Camel on the Weekends unless you like standing in line and bumping into people.

My next outing will be WMMR day at Jack Frost only $9.33 for a lift ticket
I really don;t like Jack that much but $9 a lift ticket can't be beat
you need to buy tickets in advance online.
Then Camelback the next week.

Remember never pay full price
ACME has discount tickets around $30
My Township sells discount tickets $35
Most all ski shops I know like http://wilburgers.com/lifttick.html have tickets for $27 thats $16 off a regular weekday price of $43

Dust off those skis  :)
