Well, I hope Dan Snyder really enjoyed that extra lump of cash he got last year from screwing over the other locals for parking fees because this is what happens when you mess with small towns. They fight back!!!
They obviously moved ahead without the building permit on purpose knowing this was coming. I guess they figured if they got the majority up in time it would be too late to be forced into tearing it down and everybody would come to some sort of agreement. What they didn't count on was these local groups fighting back over being screwed last year. Instead they were only worried about the council sticking it to them.
Ironically, the part that is a shame in all of this is that these people fighting back are doing nothing but screwing themselves and other locals that won't be able to enjoy a new coaster this season!
