Great video
WHat did you use to make it and what resolution etc.
in other words DETAILS:

my own opinion:
The music is as bad as the coaster  ;)
it seems like all coaster videos have to have disco club or whatever its called.
even 20 years ago the same club dance music  ?

edit: sorry above I misspelled opinion as option

Nice job Matt.  I like it a lot.  And sorry Tom, but that music really does play well to coasters IMO lol

You did a great job slowing down and speeding up to the music as well as syncing the parts.

Thanks!

I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8.0 to make my videos. I don't know what you mean, Tom, about the resolution. I rendered the video in the Sony program, which gave me a 600 something mb file size, so I re-rendered it in Windows Movie Maker to about 63 mb. I'm not to sure what you mean by the resolution though...

Yeah a lot of coaster videos have either techno/trance music or rock music set to them. I thought Hydra fit more with a trance style song.

yes I also been testing Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8
like anything it just takes getting used to but i only did some family edits with it so far.
I here its one of the better ones so i may stick with it. I tried Adobe Premier but has a big learning curve

resolution being

regular TV format is 640x480
High Def is like 1280x720 and higher
a lot of youtube is 320x240 or less

smugmug now supports 1280?720 video really the only place on the web that does so
so if you have some High Quality video you want to post or store smugmug is a good start
you can also embed the video
I have some videos on www.Smugmug.com i shoot my my Digital camera in 640x480 and some lesser quality
and almost 5000 photos   smugmug rocks

I think it's 720x480

I'm not too sure where to check it, but my camcorder records in a widescreen format.

Someone please do a coaster video to Van Halen for Tom!

Nice job on the video (like the transitions) but I have to agree with Tom on the music choice.
Then again I'm old too.
