So I've been going to LC every year for the first Friday of Haunted Graveyard for about 4 years now, and it's usually VERY dead, unless they have a concert the same night. Last year was no exception. We wil be heading back that way again this year. It's basically ERT on BD in the dark until 11, then Haunted Graveyard after  ( the 45 minute walk-through that kicks major ass!)

Anyone else want in???

Last year wasn't as good as the first due to the lost of Axel Rose. I'd also say last year didn't have as many scare actors.  In any case ..I wouldn't miss it!

We're passing on LC this day due to it being PPP weekend.  We always go to Knoebels Friday night to hang with friends and we don't want to give that up.  LC wasn't too great on that Friday last year anyway with the concert increasing the crowds.  From what I hear, they're supposed to do that again with a band that's more popular.  Last year the 2nd Friday night was less crowded than the first so we're going to do that again this year.  Plus, the Haunted Graveyard always gets better as the weeks go on.  The first weekend never has all of the scenes in order and usually doesn't have as many actors.  One year we did it the first weekend and the last weekend and we couldn't believe how much was missing on that first weekend.

I'm looking into it     $ been a little tight lately but I need to get up there.
Trying to work out the PPP event  need to look up a room for that one very soon.

I do have my Universal Season pass ($99) so trying to get down there again at least twice before end of May 2009.
The 2 round trip Southwest airfares will help with that (thanks to the Southwest Visa card) or may use them for a trek out to Vegas.

 Were thinking about doing LC for RRC's Boulderfest. I think that  is 9/6.  We've never been and I'm afraid the Graveyard stuff would be too intense for my 4 yr old.

Awesome place for the kids but I'd agree on not taking them during the graveyard from what I've seen.

We had a blast there with our then 2 and 5 year olds .
